From cold endless, chilled clean, clear lakes as well as streams and rivers, all the way through to those high rock ridges, and back to the mosquito infested low swamp lands, sandrock piles, and thick timber of old burn areas, to mature open timber that is covered up in white lichen then back to even bigger and more rock. Nature welcomes you to the northern section of the province of Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is home to some of the nicest and most affordable bear hunts to be found anywhere on the planet.
This vast area where our camp is located is home to many different animals. We see lots of wolves, moose, deer, caribou, mallards, martens, geese, fishers, lynx, mink, otters, seagulls, wolves, grizzly, wolverines, eagles and of course we see abundant numbers of Saskatchewan Black Bear. I’ve guided for black bear hunts for over 35 years, and in that time I have taken over one thousand clients who have taken over 1500 bears. In these boreal forest of Northern Saskatchewan we see lots and lots of trophy bears.
Since 2000 I located my remote camp in this area of the Northern Saskatchewan province. Such remote areas as this are full of peaceful solitude and undisturbed tranquility. Northern Saskatchewan offers an affordable opportunity to bear hunt in a remote territory and vast areas hardly seen by mankind. This gives our clients a chance to harvest a once in a life time trophy animal. What could be better?
With a large number of active bear baits, we expect our hunters to see lots of bears. Our baiting stations are scattered over a large area of the map and consequently we don’t attract the same bears to other baiting stations. Each client will have at least three active baits stations on which to hunt over during the course of their bear hunt.
We put in lots of hard work and dedication to put you on active bear stands. Obviously we are very proud to say that our clients have put over 1000 bears in the record books, including Pope & Young, Safari Club as well as in the Boone & Crockett record books. While some of our hunters have chosen to not to officially score their trophies, quite a few do choose to do so.
